Consignments by MetroMakeupMaven was created out of a need. In the span of four years, I underwent weight loss surgery, got pregnant and gave birth, and then lost even more weight. The staggering amount of clothes of various sizes was overwhelming, to say the least! As a general rule, New York City apartments tend to be a bit small. Add a husband, baby, and a cat, and there’s really no room for clothing piles. What could be done? That’s when I learned about the magic of online reselling!

Utilizing multiple reselling platforms such as Postmark and eBay, your old items can be purchased by someone that will love them the way you did, while making some money back in the process! It’s a process to prep, photograph, list, and properly market the selling of clothing. Luckily, you have me! Fashion sustainability and more time for yourself is a beautiful thing!
